Equine Facilitated Personal Development Course

Topics Covered in the Course: Leadership, Safety, Relationships, Conflict Resolution, and Teamwork, and other topics TBD(based on student needs).

Skills to be Learned By Taking This Course: How to be around a horse safely, basic horsemanship skills such as: haltering, leading and taking care of a horse. Also we will be learning about horse personalities and how that relates to DISC personalities in people.

Key Information: Willing to learn more about yourself by learning from horses and learning some horsemanship skills. Must be willing to drive to the barn. Part of the course can be done online. Written reflections on time with horses is a required assignment for the course. Will get a certificate of completion at the end of the course. Also can use this course as a reference for experience with horses. 

WHO: Anyone who wants to get outside and learn something about themselves and horses or horsemanship skills. No previous horse experience necessary. Course will run with one person registered.

WHEN: Total of 21 hours to be scheduled in 90 minute intervals of 12Sessions. Specific Dates and times to be confirmed based on availability.
